Most Network marketers agree that an MLM blog is a necessity for building a big list. In order to have a successful MLM blog the key will ultimately be consistency. This is often a challenge because most people who are starting their MLM blog have gotten into the business on a part time basis. Even those that do have the time often suffer from writers block. I have people ask me all the time, how do I come up with content to consistently add to my MLM blog. Here are some ideas that may help.
Content Ideas for Your MLM Blog
Draw Inspiration From Other Blogs
By now you have certainly chosen an MLM blog or two that you like to follow. Well get out there an follow a few more. Visit the MLM blogs of leaders you like and get inspiration from what they are writing about. If you want to share their ideas just make sure you give them credit. If they inspire you to give your own opinion then you have an article for your MLM blog.
What Happened Today?
Lots of things happen during your day that are worthy of gracing the pages of your MLM blog. Reflect on your day’s experiences. There may be more relevant content there then you would first suspect. Maybe you experienced something that reminded you why you started an MLM business in the first place. Maybe you struggled speaking to a prospect and can share what you learned from the struggle. The best part about sharing experiences is that people can relate. It is not just instructional, it’s a touch personal
Have you learned anything recently?
This is where books, personal development material, online training etc. all really come in handy. I mention this all the time, but the best thing about an MLM blog is that you have to keep improving and learning if you are going to continue producing valuable content. The biggest mistake that someone can make with their MLM blog is to to assume they were one of the last people to learn something, and that that info is not valuable. Everyday people search for something that you learned yesterday, so why shouldn’t it be your MLM blog where they find it.
Do a how to post.
These are great, and best of all you can add short screen capture videos to accompany them. If you learn how to put a custom header on your MLM blog do a how to. If you learn how to connect your twitter and facebook do a how to. I know this stuff seems simple, but you would be surprised at how many people will find these how to’s helpful. If you make you MLM blog posts highly technical and super specific you will greatly reduce your audience.
Use the news and current events as a source of content for your MLM blog
Let’s face it network marketers everywhere are capitalizing on these difficult economic times. Why not incorporate the challenged economy into you MLM blog posts. Subscribe to some RSS feeds of blogs provide news that you find valuable, that way you don’t have to begin searching the web aimlessly when your lm blog needs something newsworthy.
Your MLM Blog Can be Partially Outsourced
Let’s face it. You can’t be everywhere all the time, but if you want your MLM blog to be successful you need a constant stream of content. You can have a post for your MLM blog written for about $5. I feel like this should really be a last resort, but I also feel there is nothing wrong with it. I mean, after all, you are building a business not a personal journal. Just make sure that at the end of the day anything you add to your MLM blog is content that you deem worthy and helpful to your followers.
